Zane Sanders has been working as an Adventure Curator at TomTod Ideas since 2019.

As an Adventure Curator, Zane works directly with middle schoolers through our programming in classes, clubs, and camps.  Zane is instrumental in creating TomTod curriculum along with organizing community connection opportunities and co-exploring with middle schoolers.

Zane graduated in 2010 and began his career by engaging with college-level students at Kenyon College in central Ohio. Later, he returned to Canton with his family, where you might find them exploring local parks, trying diverse restaurants, or enjoying local activities such as ice skating and First Fridays in downtown Canton.

Zane is a significant contributor to shaping the educational landscape within TomTod Ideas. He actively designs curriculum tools, emphasizing design thinking and gamification, while keeping up to date with the latest technologies like Artificial Intelligence (which may have had some influence on this bio). Zane envisions growing with TomTod and utilizing his skills to advance the organization’s mission.

Zane is not just a professional, but also a loving husband and father of two. He is a strong advocate for collaborative efforts that lead to a more equitable future,  and has a diversity of interests as a big fan of music, board games, and Geek culture, with a special passion for Marvel, Star Wars, and more. All of his pursuits demonstrate his dedication to creating a thriving world where everyone is interconnected and can flourish.
