Design for good. Fun for all. Camp What If: Canton takes you on a fun-filled downtown adventure of learning about your city and making it the best place to be.
Pricing and Scholarships
Camp What If: Canton is $300. But don’t pay full price – we have multiple discounts and scholarships ready for you.
Camp What If is all about having fun and doing good.
We have a blast with so many things happening downtown and in the Canton Arts District: daily art workshops, exclusive behind the scenes tours of major buildings like the Historic Onesto Hotel, Stark County Courthouse and Government Building, Canton Repository, and many more. We make friends, play games, and learn all about the challenges and possibilities of the city.
We explore, discover, and immerse ourselves in what makes the Hall of Fame City tick.
At Camp What If: Canton, we soak in all the amazing things Canton has to offer. We go on interactive field trips, talk to community leaders, eat the best local food, and see how people are working to make the city better for everyone.
Artsplorations: Create art with the pros doing it in real life
At camp we use the arts to explore innovation and creative problem-solving. Professional artists teach Artsplorations – daily workshops where campers get their creative juices flowing first-hand with visual art, dance, improv, and storytelling!
TomTod Ideas empowers you to make world-changing ideas.
After we’ve met the artists behind the vibrant artwork downtown, filled our stomachs with delicious local cuisine, and explored the assets and challenges of the city, we reflect and tell stories of all the fun we had, friends we made, and experiences we dove into. We take what we learned and and create ideas to solve problems and enhance our community.
The Community Ideation Celebration: using your imagination to bring your awesome idea to life.
Camp What If: Canton concludes with a closing program for parents, family, friends, and community members. Campers design their own experience to enhance the city firsthand. They share their stories to the crowd ready and waiting to hear about the summer camp where middle schoolers discover what they can do to change the world – by dreaming, designing, and building something real.
Closing program: July 15, 6 – 7:30 p.m.
